How do I Zip/Compress Files in Windows if Compressed is missing?

Purpose: This article explains the steps for zipping and unzipping files using Windows if you don’t see the Send to> Compressed (zipped) folder When you right click.

Troubleshooting: Some users might encounter the option Send to> Compressed (zipped) folder is missing in which case the following can be done to fix the issue. This does requires admin rights.

1. Open C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
2. Copy the Compressed (Zipped) Folder file
3. Go to C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
4. Paste the File (requires Admin)
